Dear Parents and Children:
We strongly suggest following the checklist on this page.

Note: Sign-in at the retreat location for each retreat begins at 5:30 PM, with most children arriving between 5:30 and 7:30 PM. Supper is around 7:30 PM, but do know that we're prepared to feed your child no matter what time you arrive. Pickup on Sunday is appreciated by 12:30 PM (though some parents do come earlier to join us for worship, which is always okay). Children not picked up by 2:00 PM are shipped home UPS! (Kidding!)
Bring you! God’s one of a kind, fantastic and beautiful
person!
__ Flashlight, extra batteries (we don’t supply new ones…shock!)
__ Label everything! Including socks, undies, jackets, sweatshirts
and sleeping bags!
__ Bring sleeping bag or blankets, pillow, PJ’s/sleepwear
__ Clean clothes, extra socks, light jacket
__ Winter retreats: warm socks, snow suit, boots, winter coat,
extra mittens/gloves.
__ Warmer weather: bug spray, bathing suit, sunscreen, shorts,
cut-offs, etc.
__ Toothbrush, tooth paste, soap
__ Bring your favorite stuffed critter!
__ Poems and favorite prayers to share, books.
__
Some bring cameras, address books, journals.
__ Pack your wacky dress-up clothes for Saturday night!
__ Bring your instrument, give a concert!
__ Make a list of everything you bring! It will help you to pack
up after the retreat.
__ Label everything you bring!
Did I say that?
__ If we program a field trip, a few extra dollars can be useful
for minor purchases, etc.
__ Please leave all electronic wonders at home! (But Walkman’s
are okay for going to sleep to)

If child is taking any medication, please let us know at retreat.
If child needs assistance, just ask.
__ All first time attendees must complete Health and Safety Form,
which is kept on file.
__
We can meet any dietary needs if we know in advance.
__ Retreats begin with registration at 5:30 P.M. on Friday and
end after lunch on Sunday.
__ Pick-up before 1:00 P.M. is appreciated, or, we ship UPS, freight
due. (Kidding!)
__ Parents are welcome to join us for worship with host meeting
on First Day
SIXTH
GRADER RETREAT ATTENDEE POLICY:
Please be aware that 6th graders may not attend
both Jr. Hi and Elementary Retreat programs.
Sixth graders may try one Jr. Hi Retreat, stay with that
program, or return to JYM. to finish out the year. (Policy
of NEYM Youth Programs Committee)
Cost
per person is $60.00. $5.00
sibling discount applies.
Please don’t let money keep anyone away.
Scholarships are available.
Speak with Kevin if scholarship is needed.
Please
make checks payable to NEYM. Please
pay at Retreat.
Items
left behind that are labeled get mailed back to you. Unclaimed
reusable clothing go to a shelter if not claimed within one year.
