STAFF COORDINATOR

< Back

1.     Please post Staff Sign-up Sheet on wall. (You’ll find it in your Staff Notebook, maybe.)

2.     Please check with Kevin to be sure that Retreat Schedule is posted on wall. (He’s great at making a large one out and forgetting to post it!)

3.     Ask staffers not fulfilling other specific chores to sign up for outside staffing posts.

4.     Feel the power surging into your veins. If anyone questions your authority, pretend your Elias Hicks and stare into their eyes. That should do it.

5.     Notice to be sure that assigned staffer(s) to arts and crafts tables actually are getting there during free time.

6. Make sure that our "Roving Staffer is roving (!) about during free-time periods, etc.

7.    Check to see that other staffers actually get to their outside posts when children are outside. Whenever children are outside, we must have at least one, preferably two staffers outside also. If you spot two or more staffers in a huddle looking happy, break them up!

8.     Check with Wendyl when meals will be ready for serving.

9.     See that a staffer signs up to oversee each mealtime period.  These adults help to round up children either before or after a meal, depending on which chore they have signed up for. It helps if each staffer signs their name in the meal block area that they have agreed to oversee. (Hint, you’ll probably have to remind the staffer, too!)

10.    See that staffers don’t stampede when they’re asked to sign up for the Quiet Room!

11. If you see any staffers drooling on Sunday morning, please report them to Friends In Unity With Nature.

12. Bring concerns, etc. to retreat coordinator’s attention.

Thank you,

Bobby Barclay
